Welcome to Doctrine of Genesis. As we begin to bring this site up to speed we would like to explain exactly what our mission or purpose it. Our mission is to, first of all, defend the first eleven chapters of Genesis. We believe that God has revealed to human beings how He created the heavens and the earth. We also believe that God has revealed to humans the order of the creation of the heavens and the earth. Second, we defend the first eleven chapters of Genesis because all of the major doctrines of the Judeo-Christian faith are introduced in the first eleven chapters of Genesis.

In the very first verse of Genesis we are introduced to the doctrine of God, or theology, and the doctrine of creation. In the second verse, we are introduced to the doctrine of the Holy Spirit, or Pneumatology. Before we get to the end of the first chapter we are introduced to the doctrine of the trinity in seed form and the doctrine of man, anthropology. In the third chapter we are introduced to the doctrine of sin, harmartology, judgement, the promise of restoration, soteriology, and the spirit world.

As we move through the first eleven chapters of Genesis verse by verse we will introduce the various views of Genesis. We will also present the case for the literal view of the creation account. Our hope is that you, the reader, will be enriched through this study.
